Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental prophylaxis and patient education
• Perform oral health assessments and document findings accurately
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized care plans
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a clean clinical environment

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
• Dental Hygiene certification or associate degree from an accredited program
• Excellent communication and patient‑centered care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Oral anatomy and pathology
• Preventive dental procedures and hygiene techniques
• Radiography safety and image interpretation
• Patient education and motivational interviewing
• Electronic dental record documentation
