Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with patient preparation and instrument setup
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
- Take and develop dental radiographs as directed
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
- Provide patients with post‑procedure instructions and answer basic questions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Dental Assistant certification (e.g., CDA) preferred
- Previous experience in a dental office is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
