Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and exams to promote oral health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Skilled in patient education and relationship building
• Comfortable with dental software and record-keeping
