Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care
• Educate patients on oral health best practices and treatment plans
• Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Collaborate with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental hygiene procedures and patient education
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in periodontal therapy and prophylaxis
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Skilled in using dental software for patient management
• Excellent interpersonal and chairside manner
