Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide professional dental hygiene services including cleanings, examinations, and patient education
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Collaborate with dentists to deliver optimal patient care
- Use state-of-the-art dental equipment and techniques
- Promote oral health and preventive care to patients
- Adapt quickly to different practice environments and patient needs
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high-quality dental care and safety standards
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Proficiency in dental software and record-keeping systems
- Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
- Attention to detail and strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
