Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the endodontist during root canal and other procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures to ease anxiety
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred but not required
• Current X-ray certification in Maryland
• Experience in endodontics or general dentistry is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control
• Proficient in taking digital and traditional x-rays
• Excellent patient chairside manner
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
