Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for safety and efficiency
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification preferred
• X-ray certification required for Maryland
• Experience with dental software and chairside assisting is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficient in instrument sterilization and infection control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
