Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Adhere to departmental and facility policies and standards of nursing practice
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive environment

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of long-term care (LTC) experience
BSN preferred but not required

Education

BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PC use and clinical databases
Knowledge of the nursing process and evidence-based care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
