Education

• Common diagnoses/Types of patients COPD, COVID, Heart failure, abdominal surgeries, dialysis, cardiac, med-tele, psych, infectious disease, ortho, neuro (Stroke/TBI), heart cath lab, general post-surgical
• Experience or 'Must have' skills Vital signs, med-tele level of care
• Job Duties: i.e. Blood Sugars, Insertion of Straight Catheter, EKGs, Insertion or Removal of IV's? PIV removal, foley removal
• will not take blood sugars
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Various/Various
• Shifts & Scheduling Nights
• Weekend Requirement Every other
• Holiday Requirement Same as nursing
• Is there a call or standby requirement? standby as per nursing contracts
• Floating Requirements yes
• Scrub Color/Dress Code N/A
• Unit/Department specific orientation Will be completed by educators - 1 day of general orientation/1 day unit/hospital orientation
