Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: AP shift, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, includes rotating days and weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with meals, mobility, and other activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Foster a positive, respectful environment for patients and families
Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
At least 6 months of recent long-term care or skilled nursing experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient care fundamentals and infection control
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate bedside manner with a focus on patient dignity
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
