Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weeknight call (1x/week) and weekend call (1 weekend/month)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and neuro procedures in a 5-suite cath lab
Monitor hemodynamics and assist with conscious and moderate sedation
Manage cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Operate balloon pumps and ensure airway management during procedures
Collaborate with RNs and lead tech to assign rooms and coordinate cases
Rotate on-call for inpatient and emergent cases, including one weekend per month

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification and Fluoroscopy license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of current cath lab experience
Proficiency in conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management
Experience with cardiac drips and balloon pumps
Comfortable working in a high-volume STEMI receiving facility

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, and neuro intervention procedures
Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and equipment operation
Understanding of EP cases and suite setup
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
