Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 6:00 PM, including weekends and holidays, with call requirements of 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform general, vascular, and specialty ultrasound procedures
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and technology
Work effectively with radiologists and other medical staff
Provide high-quality patient care and services

Qualifications

Registered Sonographer (RVT) with strong vascular experience
ARDMS (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with procedures and ultrasounds

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
Vascular and general sonography procedures
Patient care and communication skills
Medical terminology and anatomy
