Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro stepdown patients
• Monitor neurological status and vital signs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions and recovery

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Louisiana
• Experience in neuro stepdown or acute care preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Neuro assessment and monitoring
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Patient education and discharge planning
• Documentation and charting in electronic medical records
