Location: Longmont, Colorado

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, flexible schedule with 6-week block scheduling; travelers expected to fill gaps. Weekend requirement: 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Holiday rotation possible.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a 12-bed LDRP unit
Circulate and recover C-sections in a dedicated OR suite
Triage labor and delivery patients, prioritize care based on acuity
Administer medications including Pitocin and Magnesium sulfate drips
Care for couplets (mother-baby) and support breastfeeding
Orient to manage overflow mastectomy patients (overnight stays) when needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years
Comfortable with triage, circulating and recovering C-sections
Prior travel experience preferred
Willing to float within Zone 3 facilities on rare occasions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation (C-EFM or AWHONN intermediate/advanced)
Knowledge of AWHONN nurse-to-patient ratios for labor and couplets
Experience with LDRP, triage, and postpartum care
Team collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
