Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Circulate in the OR during C-sections
Perform newborn assessments and routine baby care
Titrate IV drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Float to postpartum unit as needed to care for moms and babies
Collaborate with a dynamic team of OB techs, residents, and anesthesiologists

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Ability to circulate in the OR
BLS and NRP certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal (to verify 50-mile radius rule)

Knowledge & Skills

Labor & Delivery nursing including high-risk OB
Newborn assessment and routine care
Postpartum nursing
IV drip titration (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate)
EFM interpretation (Obix system)
Teamwork, positive attitude, flexibility
