Location: Silverdale, WA

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend. Days (Sat-Sun) and Nights (Fri-Sat). Block scheduling available.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Independently attend deliveries and assist with C-sections, including circulating and baby transition
Monitor and interpret fetal heart tones using Centricity-perinatal system
Administer and titrate medications such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB/GYNs, neonatologists, and nurse practitioners

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (no first-time travelers)
LDRP experience required - comfortable with all aspects of labor and delivery
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced FHM certification preferred
Ability to function in Mother/Baby and Postpartum as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in LDRP, delivery attendance, and C-section circulating
Proficient in fetal monitoring interpretation (EFM)
Comfortable with high-risk OB scenarios including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to unit workflows and open to feedback
