Location: Henderson, Nevada

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day or night shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and delivery patients, including high-risk cases
Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring interpretation
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Titrate IV drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed to support team coverage
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including anesthesiologists and neonatologists available 24/7

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Minimum of 2 years recent L&D experience preferred
Must be independent and confident with high-risk labor and delivery procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and strip interpretation (Cerner EFM system)
Skilled in high-risk obstetrics and antepartum care
Ability to titrate drips and manage OB emergencies
Experience with C-section recovery and couplet care
