Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM (day) and 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM (night), including every other weekend and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, sepsis, stroke, and post-surgical cases
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, titrate cardiac and sedation drips, and manage ventilator patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Perform thorough assessments, administer medications, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred
Valid driver's license to verify 50-mile radius rule
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips, sedation, and insulin infusions
Competence in ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy
Experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Ability to manage complex adult patients with multiple comorbidities
Understanding of stroke, trauma, and post-procedural care
