End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU float pool setting
Titrate and monitor critical drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately
Float between multiple ICUs within the zone (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying unit protocols and patient populations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Previous travel experience preferred
Epic experience highly desirable

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing skills including titration of vasoactive and sedation medications
Telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition
Proficient in Epic electronic health record system
Comfortable floating across multiple ICU settings
Strong adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment
