Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: College Station, TX

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day/night shifts starting at 6:45 AM/PM, mid-shifts at 9, 11, 1, 3. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a Level III trauma center
Triage and assess patients with diverse conditions from cardiac arrests to pediatric emergencies
Administer medications, manage drips, and perform advanced procedures
Collaborate with a dedicated team including physicians, midlevels, and support staff
Maintain a safe and efficient environment during high-acuity situations

Qualifications

Current RN license in Texas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ER experience (first-time travelers welcome)
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia test at 83% before starting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Experience with trauma, stroke, and STEMI protocols
Pediatric emergency care skills
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Ability to float and adapt to changing patient needs
