Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Assist surgeons during CVOR procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition with quick, decisive action
- Collaborate with surgical team to plan and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about pre- and post-operative care
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
