Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, shift negotiable; plus call: one weekday per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform circulating and scrubbing duties in the Cardiovascular Operating Room for complex open-heart and endovascular procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care
Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and communication
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for emergent cardiac surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Minimum of one year recent CVOR experience with open-heart and/or endovascular cases
Ability to scrub into open-heart procedures and assist with chest closure

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and sterile technique
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing case schedules and call requirements
