Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and strength
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment in compliance with regulations

Qualifications

Active state license as a Physical Therapist in Ohio
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Previous experience in an outpatient or acute care setting is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in evaluating and treating orthopedic, neurological, and general medical conditions
Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
Skilled in using electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation
Understanding of insurance and reimbursement guidelines for physical therapy services
Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
Empathetic patient-centered approach to care
