Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient visits.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Take and process dental X-rays and intraoral scans as directed by the orthodontist.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent state-specific certification preferred.
• Previous experience in orthodontic or general dental assisting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures.
• Skilled in taking dental radiographs and using digital imaging software.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
