Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Location: Parkville, MD

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists with procedures such as applying braces and adjustments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take dental X-rays and impressions for treatment planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or license in Maryland (or eligibility)
- Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and digital impressions
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Compassionate patient interaction skills
