Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist with patient procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments
• Maintain accurate patient records in Denticon
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow‑ups
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Experience in orthodontic setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with dental software such as Denticon

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Understanding of infection control standards
• Skill in taking dental impressions and radiographs
• Familiarity with scheduling and billing software
• Excellent organizational abilities
