Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a full range of laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank as a generalist
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and timely results
Conduct phlebotomy on rare occasions as needed
Utilize EPIC Beaker LIS for patient documentation and result entry
Adhere to strict quality control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Lab Generalist
MLT or MLS certification from a recognized agency (AMT or ASCP)
BLS certification preferred; ability to perform venipuncture
Proficiency with EPIC Beaker LIS required
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of generalist lab procedures in all departments
Proficient in phlebotomy techniques
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Time management skills to handle a high-volume workload
