Location: Williston, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights), 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend, every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to LDRP patients including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and titrate drips such as pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Float to Med/Surg and ER as needed to support hospital staffing
Collaborate with charge nurse and CNA team to ensure safe patient ratios
Maintain quality metrics and follow AWHONN guidelines for patient care
Adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and unit needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required (AHA)
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal strips independently
Must pass background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience with Meditech EMR, Philips telemetry, and TraceView EFM system
Knowledge of AWHONN nurse-to-patient ratio guidelines
Ability to titrate high-risk drips (pitocin, magnesium, insulin)
