Shift Type: Four 10-hour shifts, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, schedule confirmed 6 weeks in advance, some flexibility later

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in GI/Endo procedure rooms with patient positioning and preparation
Collect and handle specimens with care and accuracy
Perform bedside precleaning of scopes and equipment
Set up and break down scopes and procedural rooms between cases
Restock supplies to ensure readiness for each procedure
Support the care team in EGDs, colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies
May assist in the gastric lab with esophageal motility studies if experienced

Qualifications

At least 1 year of previous GI tech experience required
BLS certification from AHA required
Experience with scope cleaning, set up, and break down
Comfortable working in an ambulatory surgical environment
Ability to float occasionally to Federal Way, Bellevue, or Lynnwood

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient positioning for endoscopic procedures
Skilled in specimen collection and handling
Knowledge of scope cleaning protocols and equipment maintenance
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Team player with strong communication skills
