Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal care
• Examine patients for signs of oral disease
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene instrumentation
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Familiarity with dental software and digital x-rays
• Ability to manage patient anxiety with empathy
• Time management and organizational skills
