Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and exams to promote oral health
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Document patient care accurately and maintain records
Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure comprehensive treatment
Assist with patient management and comfort during procedures

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient care abilities

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
Knowledge of dental software and record-keeping
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to infection control and safety standards
