Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients in a pediatric office
- Assess patients' oral health and develop tailored treatment plans
- Perform professional teeth cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Document patient care accurately using Denticon software
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Experience working with children preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to educate patients of all ages
- Comfortable using electronic health records (Denticon)
- Time management and organizational skills
