Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures to create technically diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Assist cardiologists during invasive ultrasound procedures
Provide compassionate patient care and ensure comfort during exams
Maintain accurate documentation and charge capture for each procedure
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement clinical protocols and policies

Qualifications

Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program
Certification in cardiac ultrasound by ARDMS or CCI (or within 12 months of graduation)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echo Technologist

Education

Degree or certificate from an accredited sonography program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography techniques
Strong understanding of clinical protocols and patient safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and make independent judgments
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
