Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage medical telemetry for 36-bed medicine unit, ensuring patient safety
- Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced environment, making real impact on lives
- Collaborate with a supportive team of 50+ staff including charge nurses and CNAs
- Prepare patients for procedures like Endoscopy, IR, and OR with precision
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment like Cerner EMR and remote telemetry monitoring
- Float to sister med-surg units to broaden your expertise and help where needed most
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
- BLS certification required, CMSRN encouraged
- Medical Telemetry proficiency is a must
- BSN preferred along with leadership or charge nurse experience
Education
- BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in medical telemetry and patient monitoring
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR and workstation on wheels technology
- Strong team collaboration in high-volume med-surg settings
