Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts, up to every other weekend, rotating holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop patient daily lists and review charts
- Assess patient needs and open goals of care discussions
- Provide education on disease process, advance directives, and POLSTs
- Hold family meetings as needed
- Attend daily rounds and provide end-of-life discussions and support
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of recent experience in palliative and/or hospice setting
- BSN required
- BLS certification required
- ELNEC preferred
- Strong acute care, clinical thinking, and communication skills
Education
- BSN degree required
Knowledge & Skills
- Palliative care experience
- Acute care skills
- Clinical thinking and communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Hospice and oncology experience a plus
