Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly including rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to MICU patients, managing ventilators and advanced equipment like NXStage and Arctic Sun
- Perform life-saving procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis caths, cardioversions and intubations
- Monitor and respond to complex patient conditions using GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document meticulously in Meditech while adapting to varying acuity levels
- Float as needed to support hospital-wide critical care needs
Qualifications
- Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years of MICU or MSICU experience
- CCRN certification preferred for top consideration
Education
- RN licensure with ICU specialization
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun and GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Meditech documentation experience
- Expertise in high-acuity critical care procedures
- Strong assessment skills for complex patient populations
