RN Med Surg Tele for Emergency Room HOLDS
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Start Date: 04-05-2026
End Date: 02-08-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional inpatient care for med-surg tele patients and emergency room holds with sharp acuity awareness
- Monitor and manage patient ratios ensuring safety and comfort during night shifts
- Collaborate with the team to deliver timely interventions that make a real difference
- Handle ED patient transfers seamlessly when needed, showcasing your versatility
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Recent inpatient med-surg tele or ED hold experience preferred
- Completed Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklist
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
- Emergency patient stabilization expertise
- Excellent assessment abilities for high-acuity cases
- Team collaboration in fast-paced inpatient environments
