Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care during labor and vaginal deliveries, making every moment count
- Circulate confidently in C-sections, supporting safe outcomes for moms and babies
- Monitor high and low-risk obstetric patients with precision using GE fetal monitors
- Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, midwives, and doulas for optimal patient experiences
- Provide compassionate couplet care for mom and baby, creating joyful beginnings
- Handle procedures like cerclages, versions, D&Cs, and epidurals with skill and empathy
Qualifications
- Active RN license with minimum 1-2 years current acute care L&D experience
- Current NRP, BLS, ACLS certifications
- EFM-C or AWHONN certification required
- Comfortable managing unblocked/unepiduralized patients a big plus
Education
- RN degree from accredited nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Strong fetal monitoring with GE systems
- Team collaboration with physicians, midwives, and doulas
- Experience with Mom/Baby couplet care
- Proficiency in EMR systems like CPN and Meditech
