Location: Silverdale, Washington

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, days and nights, with every other weekend required (Sat/Sun for days, Fri/Sat for nights) and rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients from admission through delivery and postpartum
Skillfully manage high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use disorders
Attend deliveries independently and assist with C-section circulations
Monitor fetal heart tones and interpret electronic fetal monitoring strips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OBGYNs, neonatologists, and NNPs
Educate parents on newborn care and breastfeeding
Transition newborns and provide immediate postpartum care
Titrate IV drips such as magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin as ordered

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (consideration for 1 year with multiple travel assignments)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience in LDRP settings essential
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
Ability to titrate medications and manage IV drips
Intermediate or advanced FHM certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation using Centricity-perinatal
Knowledge of high-risk obstetrics and critical care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to unit workflows, policies, and feedback
Ability to function as an integral part of a fast-paced team
