Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Start Date: 04-05-2026
End Date: 02-08-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage ED and inpatient holds with confidence and compassion
- Maintain optimal patient ratios and acuity levels
- Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Advocate for patients during critical hold periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Recent experience in ED hold or inpatient hold nursing
- Completed Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Skills Checklist
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in emergency department holds
- Strong inpatient hold management
- Proficiency in high-acuity patient care
- Excellent assessment and prioritization skills
