Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every other weekend, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality emergency care to patients in a fast‑paced environment
Manage patient ratios and triage effectively
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
Coach and give real‑time feedback to colleagues
Float to all sections within the ED as needed
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner
Adhere to AIDET and patient experience standards
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and guidelines

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting
Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred
High‑volume ED experience (>100,000 visits) desirable
HCA experience a plus
ACLS certification required before start date
BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required before start date
ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
Strong teamwork mentality and ability to coach in real time
Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
