Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to cardiovascular ICU patients, making a real difference in their recovery
- Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes, showcasing your sharp clinical instincts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Educate patients and families, empowering them through challenging times
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience, ideally in CVICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Texas RN license or compact state license preferred
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong assessment skills for critically ill cardiac patients
- Proficiency with cardiac drips, IABPs, and Impella devices
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
