Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to cardiovascular surgery patients, making a real difference in their recovery journeys
- Monitor vital signs and assess post-operative needs with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and surgical success
- Administer medications and treatments tailored to each patient's unique cardiovascular profile
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans, empowering them towards stronger hearts and healthier lives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, ideally in cardiovascular surgery
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for critical care
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiovascular surgical procedures and post-op care
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and hemodynamic assessments
- Excellent communication and teamwork in high-stakes environments
- Adaptability to fast-paced hospital settings
