Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver total care to critically ill oncology patients, making a real difference every shift
- Masterfully titrate drips and manage ventilator patients with precision and compassion
- Provide hands-on trach care, dressing changes and turning to ensure comfort and recovery
- Collaborate seamlessly with physicians and team members in a fast-paced 10-bed unit
- Monitor and respond to complex cases using advanced equipment like vents, CRRT and BiPAP
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of strong ICU experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Comfortable with 2:1 patient ratios in a high-acuity environment
- Ready to float to other ICUs, PCU and BMT areas as needed
Education
- RN licensure and relevant ICU nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in titrating drips and caring for ventilator and BiPAP patients
- Familiarity with CRRT, A-lines, Flow-trak and IV pumps
- Proficiency in Meditech EMR system
- Bonus points for transplant experience with kidney, pancreas or liver patients
