Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory care and treatment to patients battling asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema
Evaluate patient needs and provide life-saving interventions with precision
Operate advanced equipment like Servo I ventilators, Hamilton devices, and V60 CPAP/BIPAP machines
Collaborate with a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment to make real differences
Perform critical procedures including ABGs and CPT to support patient recovery

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Florida RRT license or ability to obtain quickly

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Experience with trauma cases is a big plus
Skilled operation of ventilators, nebulizers, and CPAP/BIPAP machines
Strong critical thinking in high-pressure situations
Team-oriented mindset with excellent patient focus
