Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-level critical care to a diverse mix of ICU patients, including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
• Titrate life-saving drips such as pressors, sedatives, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
• Manage high-acuity patients on devices like CRRT, IABP, and Impella with a 1:1 ratio
• Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3, ensuring flexible coverage where needed
• Interpret telemetry strips independently and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for every patient

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
• Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Comfortable titrating all critical drips and managing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float to PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele as needed
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of critical care nursing and complex patient monitoring
• Skilled in ventilator management and respiratory support
• Proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry
• Strong ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
