Physical Therapist - Rehab Services
Location: Highlands, North Carolina
Start Date: 10-27-2025
End Date: 01-26-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, schedule to be reviewed during interview
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and craft personalized plans of care
- Assist with rounds and care conferences to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate closely with the rehab team on progress, equipment and discharge planning
- Deliver therapy in patient rooms, hallways, outdoor spaces and the state-of-the-art rehab gym
- Float between acute, swing, nursing home and outpatient services as needed to make real impact
Qualifications
- Active NC Physical Therapy license
- CPR certification
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably 3+ in medical settings including hospital or nursing home
Education
- Physical Therapy degree with NC licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Hospital and nursing home setting experience
- Proficiency with Cerner and NetHealth documentation systems
- Strong team communication for patient progress updates
- Adaptability across acute, swing bed, nursing home and outpatient rehab environments
