Physical Therapist - Inpatient
Location: Port Charlotte, Florida
Start Date: 12-30-2025
End Date: 03-31-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough PT evaluations to create personalized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions that restore mobility and independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize mobility equipment and Meditech EMR to track progress effectively
- Help patients across all floors regain strength in a 253-bed acute care setting
Qualifications
- Valid Florida PT license
- MPT or DPT degree from an accredited program
- At least 1 year of acute care experience
- Collaborative and outgoing personality with stellar communication skills
Education
- MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university
Knowledge & Skills
- Acute care physical therapy expertise
- Meditech EMR proficiency preferred
- ICU experience a plus
- Patient-focused approach with 75% productivity standard
