Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient care and treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures
• Take and record patient measurements and impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Support the office team in daily operations

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a dental assistant or orthodontic assistant
• Strong knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic treatment planning
• Instrument sterilization and infection control
• Patient charting and record keeping
• Use of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
• Team collaboration and multitasking
