Education

• OTR - Occupational Therapist [REQUIRED]
• Bachelors Degree [REQUIRED]
• More than 1 year of experience preferred but would be willing for new grad. [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Successful completion of My Michigan Health and
• affiliate specific orientation. Successful completion of new hire competency.
• Interpersonal skills needed for effective verbal
• and written communication in the English language to interact with people
• individually and in a group at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating
• problem solving and organizational skills, time management skills and
• initiative.
• Mandatory Occupational Safety and Health
• Administration (OSHA) is required and must be completed annually according to
• the Exposure Control Plan. [PREFERRED]
• Ability to work where employee may be exposed to
• communicable diseases. Ability to use personal protective equipment correctly.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with
• reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to demonstrate and teach selected
• treatment routines to appropriate professional and non-professional
• individuals.
• AOTA membership preferred. [PREFFERED]
